fill empty homes and orphan hearts

Carpe Diem, I inadvertently overheard these words spoken this week. The one person said “Carpe Diem, seize the day.”  The other’s response was “Seize the moment that makes the day”

Everyday we are faced with opportunities that can change the course of our moments, days and life… are we aware of them or do we let them slip away unnoticed.

The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning. Lamentations 3:22‭-‬23 NLT

Each morning we are afforded new mercies, new opportunities to effect change. Changes of kindness, changes of hope, changes of advancement into your purpose. Each of us have a divine purpose for our lives and more often than not those that are affected by infertility are instrumental in fulfilling the purpose of the divine through adoption or even late pregnancy. Our premise is from the experience of individuals in the Bible, examples of Hannah, Elizabeth and Mary to name a few. These women brought forth sons that changed the landscape of Israel at the time.

All children are beautiful and are born with purpose however it is my experience that as a women who remains barren physically, I know the plan God has in place for our lives. The bigger picture. During our struggles God is effecting change in us to prepare us for a future that is beyond our wildest imagination. Living an ordinary life is now the furthest from our minds, we live a life full of great expectation and dreams fulfilled.

Make it count. Carpe Diem… “SEIZE THE MOMENT”

Love always
