Founders Story
An organization based in Durban South Africa to care for orphans by engaging the
community and reducing barriers to adoption.
The name Khevna means “wish” a synonym of hope and our wish is to bring hope to barren
families and orphan children.
Every year, millions of people consider growing their family through adoption, but only a
small percentage of those who consider adoption actually move forward. The vision of
Khevna Foundation is to bring awareness to our communities on adoption. Our hope is to
assist families cross the line separating empties and orphaned children. Infertility or
barrenness difficult words to swallow and what might sound like the end become a
beginning.
Our Objectives are:
