Happy Friyay!!!! I have been following the story picture of a beautiful two and a half year old this week. This amazing spark of pure delight came to her forever family under extremely tragic circumstance.
Her parents have two beautiful biological children and lived a fairly comfortable existence until their lives were turned around as they embraced the life of their new baby girl through adoption. Theirs is a journey of restless pursuit to making her their own. We are hopeful for the finality of their adoption process.
The reason I chose to write about them is because their beautiful little girl went to play school for the first time this week. It is just for a couple of hours only. Her mum was posting pics and I could sense her heart breaking and bursting with joy all at the same time.
Wanting to shelter, hold them close and smother our kids seems the only way we know how to keep them safe especially when our kids come to us in a way different to the norm. My dear friend watched in amazement as she saw her child blossom in a different environment capturing the hearts of those around her at school.
What if I fall? Oh, but my darling what if you fly? Erin Hanson
Allow them to fly my darlings… they are an extension of who you are grooming them to be. Continue in love and great grace.
Love always
